Continental AG, Europe’s second- biggest car-parts maker, plans to invest as much as 50 million euros ($66 million) in Romania, Ziarul Financiar reported today, without saying where it got the information.
Continental plans to use the money to develop production in the western city of Timisoara as the first stage of the investment started in mid-2010, the newspaper said. The car- parts maker has invested 220 million euros in Romania since 2010, Ziarul Financiar said.
