June 15 (Bloomberg) -- Complex Energetic Craiova SA, a Romanian state-run energy producer, has shortlisted CEZ AS, the Czech Republic’s biggest power producer, and two others to build and operate a 650 million-euro ($900 million) power plant.
The state also pre-selected Edison International and AES Corp., an Arlington, Virginia-based electricity producer, to build the plant near the western Romanian city of Craiova, Constantin Balasoiu, chief executive of Complex Craiova, said in an interview on the sidelines of a seminar in Bucharest today.
