RTTNews - Tuesday, Romania's National Institute of Statistics announced that industrial new orders increased 43.1% year-over-year in September, much larger than the 16.1% recorded in August.
On a monthly basis, industrial new orders climbed 31.2% in September, after falling 12.1% in August. During January to September period, industrial new orders increased 20.1% year-on-year.
Separately, the statistical office said industrial turnover rose 12.7% year-on-year in September, better than the 6% rise seen in August. Month-on-month, industrial turnover climbed 13.5%, in contrast to the 12.8% decline in August.
For the first nine months of the year, industrial turnover increased 7.9% compared to the previous year.
