Boeing gets 150 mln usd order for two 737s from Romania's Blue Air

SEATTLE, Feb. 5, 2008 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) -- Boeing (NYSE:BA) Co today said it has received an order from Romanian budget airline Blue Air Transport Aerian for two next-generation 737-800s airplanes, and purchase rights for two more.

The order is valued at about 150 mln usd at list prices.

The airplanes will complement Bucharest-based Blue Air's all-Boeing fleet, which services European destinations.

Blue Air general manager Gheorghe Racaru said in the Boeing statement that the next-generation 737-800s were the 'right airplane for our forecasted growth in this region.'
