Romania, Bulgaria Cabinets To Hold Joint Session

The governments of Bulgaria and Romania will hold a joint session to discuss improving bilateral cooperation between the two countries, prime ministers Sergey Stanishev and Calin Popescu Tariceanu agreed on Wednesday.

Tariceanu, who is in Sofia on a one-day working visit, also assured his Bulgarian counterpart that Romania will speed up work on its side of the bridge over the Danube river between Vidin and Calafat.

Other projects discussed by the two heads of government included upgrading the existing bridge at Russe-Giurgiu, cooperation on the Nabucco pipeline and other infrastructure projects, as well as the future status of Kosovo.
