Romania expected to cancel fees for entering/exiting Vidin-Kalafat and Oryahovo-Beket ferry points

Romania is expected to cancel the increased fees for handling traffic and control of security of sailing upon entering and exiting the ferry points of Vidin-Kalafat and the Oryahovo-Beket at the Bulgarian-Romanian border at the Danube River, the Ministry of Transport reports. The problem appeared in the beginning of 2007 when Romania started to collect the fees. According to Romanian experts the new fees will come into effect non later than 10-15 March.
